SPECIALIST AND ELECTRIC LOCKING

Our Specialist Locking Division represents four of the leading manufacturers of security products – ASSA, ABLOY, Surelock McGill and MICO.

As one of ABLOY’s first UK stockists in the early 1960’s we have spent many years developing our knowledge and expertise of their products, and in particular in the major utility and industrial equipment markets. We were also appointed one of ASSA’s first main stockists in the late 1980’s, and as a result of working closely with both companies we have an enviable reputation for knowing their products extensively, particularly in major public, institutional and commercial building projects.

Surelock McGill and MICO are the UK’s leading manufacturers of high security multipoint locking products and are widely used for remote utility, government and defence installations.

Many of these products are installed in areas used by the general public and need to comply with the many different British and European Standards and legislation – this is where our expertise comes into it’s own. We can take away the complexity of product compatibility and ensure our recommendations fulfil all your legal requirements.

With an increasing trend for locking products to be operated remotely, and manufacturers offering a wide array of both mechanical and electronic devices it is important that any installation is trouble free. We can specify, supply and install a system and ensure that all the possible compatibility issues are dealt with – so you get a working solution with minimum fuss.

In fact our expertise in this field has been recognised in recent years by other specialist security installers and has become an increasingly important part of our business.

Another important aspect of our Specialist Locking business is our expertise and in-house facility to design and manufacture Master Key Systems – from small stand alone installations to large and sophisticated systems for commercial and institutional building complexes which can often involve many different sites.
Our knowledge in these areas ensures that the systems we specify will fully integrate with any aspect of door furniture. We can also offer a full range of door hardware to meet most requirements.
